Go Explo To Launch Latest Album
After the successful release of their 5th Album “Chapter 5: The Dawn Of Revival”, Go-Explo is gearing up to host their album launch at Grace Mission Church International in Centurion on the 9th of September 2023. The launch will feature artists such as Mabongi, Chairo and Lebohang Kgapola to name a few, with the Cent Twinz being the MC’s for the day.
Boasting a Crown Gospel Award, 2 x INGOMA Awards and A CLIMA Africa Award for Best Choir Of The Year (across Africa), Go-Explo is one of the country’s top gospel groups. A seasoned gospel group that takes pride in unearthing fresh talent, honing it and providing it with an opportunity perform across the country.
The group consists of multi-lingual and dynamic singers all lead by the visionary and founder Mr Kenny Shibambu. With a 9 piece band, a string quartet and a 20 person choir, the musical ensamble has pulled out all the stops to ensure that their 5th album is the best one yet.
Featuring a dymamic mix of gospel greats such as Dr Tumi, Gospel Silinda, Rhully Chauke and Chairo, the multi award winning gospel ensamble has collaborated with some of the country’s best to bring forth a powerful album.
“The Dawn Of Revival” is not merely the title of the album but it’s also the main message that the gospel powerhouse aims to spread to the nation. “There is a revival coming. We have been under siege as a people during the pandemic but God’s restoration is here. God is bringing back what we lost in the past hence the songs are refreshing and uplifting. God’s presence is sealed within every note and lyric.”, said founder Mr Kenny Shibambu.
From the first track “You Brought Us Through” to the last track “We Give You Glory”, The 19 track album takes you on a spiritual journey of praise and worship, chronicling God’s restorative power through song.
