MelisaGotGrace Nominated For "Best Gospel Song" at the 14th Crown Gospel Awards
Gospel rap artist and actress MelisaGotGrace has been nominated for “Best Gospel Rap Song” at the 14th Crown Gospel Music Awards for her single “Uyinkosi” which features former IDOLS top 3 contestant Nolo. This is her 5th nomination since the release of her Debut gospel EP “All I Need”. She has already received 3 nominations from the Independent National Gospel Music Awards (INGOMA’s) and one nomination from the Cape Gospel Music Awards (CGMA’s) in the past couple of months.
“As an artist being recognised for the work you put out it a privilege and an honour. I am so grateful to the Crown Gospel Awards for recognising my God given talent and my contribution to the Urban Gospel music genre.” Said Melissa.
“The road to putting Christian Rap Music on the map is not an easy one but we could have not chosen a better person to walk this journey with than Melissa. She is determined to ‘open the industry’ to her fellow genre mates and to put gospel rap music on the map.” Says Melisa’s manager Nolu Malope.
Melissa is nominated along with fellow gospel rap artists Butch Cassidy and Atchaar.
The Crown Gospel music awards will be broadcast on the 28th of November at 8pm on SABC 2.
